COVID-19: Virtual Hearing Resource Guides

The BBA is excited to release Virtual Hearing Resource Guides for cases in Probate and Family Court, Housing Court and District Courts. These guides contain fundamental information and best practices to successfully navigate virtual hearings in the courts.

Resources in these guides are useful for both attorneys and self-represented litigants. These guides contain information on how to access the Court, pre-hearing preparation, how to attend (by phone or video), and best practices to navigate remote hearings successfully. Additional information includes:

  • Types of hearings and how to obtain information
  • Use of documents at hearings
  • Virtual hearing etiquette
  • Participation guidelines
  • Steps before and after hearing
  • Additional resources

The creation of these guides was made possible through an ongoing collaboration with the Massachusetts Access to Justice Commission's COVID-19 Task Force. You can access the full Virtual Hearing Resource Guides here.
